the findings confirm suspicions that opioids played a role in the musician’s death.. after he died, authorities began reviewing whether an overdose was to blame and whether he had been prescribed drugs in the preceding weeks.. according to the national institute on drug abuse, fentanyl is more potent than morphine, and is “sometimes used to treat people with chronic pain who are physically tolerant to opiates.”.

i was wondering how common it is for a sinner/apostate to be outed by a babbling jw care worker?
say you went to your dr because you were pregnant and unmarried or wanting counseling for having to live a double life as a pretend jw... and a jw secretary at the drs office saw this on your file and went tattling to the elders?.

The one who had the right to judge never got to be born. As to whether Sharon deserved what she got would depend on where you stand on the abortion issue. But what she got crushed her, as to be a nurse was her hearts desire.

Robo Bobo Is correct the title of the Wt article was "A Time to Speak When?". The health care worker is now married to a uncle of mine her name is Sharon G. The event happened in the Calif. Bay Area. In the article she was represented as a clerk in medical records, named Mary, who came across payment for a abortion procedure as proof that the unmarried sister was a fornicator hence needed to be reported to elders per Lev.5:1. Sharon in truth was a nurse and saw a married sister scheduled for a abortion, she tried to talk the sister out of the abortion, she went to the elders to try and talk the sister out of the abortion, the sister went ahead and had the abortion. Sharon was trying to save a human life not report a sin. For her efforts she was balck balled out of the medical profession for revealing confidential information. -

I thought it was time to talk.....
by wozza ini'd like to relate an experience i had yesterday with a couple of jw's "working" with a cart yesterday.. been coming to this site for many years and these days i don't feel i've got much to contribute ,but i was out yesterday doing some voluntary work for a friend who has gone on an overseas trip .travelling around my local seaside area doing the job at hand ,i came across a couple of jw's sitting in a shelter overlooking the beach and had their trolley propped against a large public rubbish bin ,it was actually hard to see ithe trolley from most angles - whatever happened to lifting the basket to show the light stuff ...oh well .the large carpark was pretty empty except for us ,we've had pretty wet weather here lately ,bad storms and here they were set up for a days witnessing rugged up with wind and spitting rain ,i sort of thought " well that's dedication " ....that was my first thought then i pulled myself together and then thought "if i wanted to get some time in and not have to work at it too hard this maybe the place to go if i was a jw still".. well i finished my pickup and looked over at the two and realised i'd read other's experiences about approaching the cart people and wondered if talking to them would be of any benefit as i had witnessed this area for many years and my stance against the wts for hiding molestation of children is well known ,i thought, and they avoid me like the plague.. they were'nt familiar to me so i went up to them and introduced myself and quickly let them know who i was and what i am doing now as regards jw's.
they were a married couple middle aged been in for a long time and could relate to changes in the org very well to pre 1975 when i had first contact.
they pretty much suggested i was blinded to the truth ,when challenged on the royal commission into sex abuse they pointed to a case where they believed a victim they supposedly knew of in the jws was a liar ,so that's their case for the org -unbelievable.

NY has not liked your workmanship, they have came down very hard as to anyone talking to my df'd son, here a couple of weeks ago. To me those assemblies were opprtunities for adventure from a dreary JW childhood as it offered the oppertunity to 'work' at the assembly. I fed Otto Stores tray drying machine in Candlestick in 1961, Rose Bowl in 63, Candlestick in 66. Was in charge of garbage removal in Atlanta in 69. Which was cool, that way I didn't have to go out in field service and didn't have to were meeting clothes, as I was 'working'.
Those who went to Candlestick Park well knew the Mark Twain quote " that the coldest winter he ever knew was a summer in San Francisco".

Had a operation today and was asked about blood transfusions.
by atomant inoperation was successful only minor but some interesting information was revealed to me from the surgeon.l requested that they treat me as if l was a jehovahs witness with regards to blood transfusions.the doctor said well that varies from jw to jw and l asked what do you mean?his response was that in his dealings with jw's was that approx half of witnesses will accept a blood transfusion in life threatening circumstances and sign a form saying so.l was blown away when he told me this.l was curious if others in here have heard similar storys.lt seems to me that many witnesses have weakened their stance on this controversial subject.

I went in for a minor thying, when asked about blood I said there was no problem as I was DFed . The doctor of whom I knew [I provided a event where his two daughters played fiddles] I told him I was a former JW and he said "me too". -

Fleecing the Flock
by Coded Logic inat the last assembly i attended in 2005 the cost was $11,000 per day in yuba city (just over two hours away from our circuit).
this always seemed a bit high for a facility that was built on donated land and whose construction loan had been paid off for 20 years.. i just looked up the cost to rent the redding civic center, which is just as nice if not nicer and a whole lot closer for our circuit, and it only costs $2,500 a day plus $250 for consumables (parking included).
if it would save the brother's and sister's $8,250 a day and they could have the assembly locally why wouldn't they do it?.

That is where we used to hold the two circuit assemblies. Worked out good. Think about the bros who lived in Alturas, long drive to Redding, now add the extra 120 miles to Yuba City. Major undertaking for a worn out program.
Yuba City was built on that 'quick build' fervor, 1980's. Quite a 'cash cow'!
During the time the assemblies were held at the Civic center there was a city manager who made possible the affordable rates. He was replaced, next manager was going to raise the rate some but the real bone of contention was that the city went into contract with a food vender for exclusive rights to provide all food at center events. That was the selling point to build Yuba City.

Had a wonderful visit with Mr and Mrs Flipper Sat.
by 3rdgen ini haven't posted much lately because i got a new job at the end of nov. and it's taken much of my time and mental energy.
i still read though and care for you all very much so i thought i should let you know about the meet-up i had yesterday with mr and mrs flipper.. hubby got a call the day before from flipper saying he and his wife were going to visit his mother (who is in a rest home in my town) and would we like to meet up for coffee?
hubby couldn't make it but i was delighted to accept.. we picked a burger place not far from the rest home and where i knew jdubs don't usually hang out on saturdays.

I have been turned in to the US Postal Inspector for threatning speech in my letter writing campaign. Of which he carefully read and he found no real threats just allegories, symbolisms, and realized that all that was being was just someone fucking with the minds of a church. Interesting comment he made was that letters like mine are not that uncommon going through the mail. It did not take him long to realize the situtation of a church home wrecking and he wished me well in my endevor and to be mindfull to keep distance between my self and church so as not to trigger a restraining order.
I got turned into RPD for posting threats on Kingdom Hall doors [like Martin Luther] but police supervisor was quick to see the situtation of a father seperated from family by church. he was well aware of the principle of disfellowshiping. Agai wished me luck just keep my distance from the church.
Interesting today Dec 31 is a aniversary of the demise of a elder of whom the letter writing campaign was centered on [heart attack] resulting from my taping a court decission [as to a swindler, Raymond C. Dale was swindling a widow out of a trust deed] to the church doors 5 days earlier. And it was you Barbara who unlocked the mystery of Merton Campbell of the Service Dept. who had instructed the Circuit Oveerseer [Lester Bailey] and the disfellowshipping appeals committee to keep that court decision secret. that court case #149893 was finished two monthe prior to wife leaving the marriage on the grounds that I was a threat to her spirituality.
Wasn't it in Denmark where the WBTS was taken to task in the paper for violating the national law on "hate speech" pertaining to their "Human Apostate" talk in the 2013 summer convention? The attorney quoted stated that the Danish law was the result of Hitlers treatment of the Jews. It was in this "Human Apostate" talk where the church refered to my letter writing campaign as being a new tactic by apostates to write letters to the homes of the publishers.
So supposed threatening speech is a tool and can be used to stop hearts of elders with guilty conscience.
